Brodie Lee Announced For First Post-WWE Appearance

Brodie Lee

It was announced recently that Luke Harper would be getting his long-awaited release from WWE.  Things went quiet for a time with a few AEW rumours popping up but nothing substantial.  That is until WrestleCon casually announced that Brodie Lee would be taking part in their WrestleMania week festivities.  For those unaware Harper wrestled on the independent scene for years as Brodie Lee before joining the WWE.

Lee was announced alongside an eclectic group including ECW’s Francine and Shane Douglas, former Diva Celeste Bonin (Kaitlyn in WWE) Ring Of Honor star BandidoIMPACT! Wrestling champion Taya Valkyrie and NJPW megastar Will Ospreay.

With this confirmation that Brodie Lee will in fact be taking part in Mania weekend let’s hope that he takes advantage of all the attention to prove to the world why he was considered one of the most underused talents in the WWE. This is the first announced date for Lee since his WWE release and it will be interesting to see where else Brodie Lee shows up during, or even before, WrestleMania week.
