Pro Wrestling EVE runs one of the biggest events of their calendar as they present WrestleQueendom 3. Featuring a slew of EVE’s best stars as well as Session Moth Martina and Zoe Lucas returning from their recent Stardom tours, Maki Itoh and Yuka Sakazaki making their EVE debuts and the history-making Nor Diana, the world’s first hijab wearing wrestler, also making her debut. WrestleQueendom 3 promises to be an eventful show as EVE makes their way to Fite TV.
Killer Kelly vs Roxxy and Jinny vs Nina Samuels are being recorded exclusively for EVE on Demand and will not be shown on Fite.
15 Woman Rumble
It’s not a big show in January if there isn’t a Rumble. Currently announced are EVE regulars like Jetta and Nightshade as well as up and coming talents like Aleah James and Rebel Kinny. Sure to be fun and have some suprises.
Maki Itoh vs Session Moth Martina
Two of the biggest characters in women’s wrestling collide here as Stardom’s Martina takes on Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling’s Maki Itoh. Itoh has made a name for herself outside of the Joshi bubble thanks to her twitter antics like the dirty words she learns and her funny Q and A’s. She brings just as much character to the ring and it will be interesting to see how Martina deals with it. Martina may want to have some beer and party with Maki but we’re not sure how that’s gonna go down with Itoh. Whether they go the comedy route or have a straight-up match this one is sure to entertain.
Zoe Lucas vs Nor “Phoenix” Diana
The debuting Phoenix comes into EVE as a history maker. Diana was the first-ever hijab-wearing pro wrestler and managed to ascend to the top of Malaysian pro wrestling as she captured the MyPW Wrestlecon Championship after defeating multiple men to win a tournament. The barrier breaking Diana faces off against Zoe Lucas in her debut. Lucas is the RevPro women’s champion and spent the majority of 2018 honing her craft in Stardom as a member of Tokyo Cyber Squad. Diana was originally meant to choose her opponent for her debut but Lucas took that choice right out of her hands and set up this match. Can Diana pull off the victory in her debut or will Lucas make a big impression on her EVE return?
Lana Austin vs Yuka Sakazaki
Lana Austin requested this match after coming up short in a triple threat match at Battle Cry. The match was made official by Emily Read and Austin will now face TJPW Princess Of Princesses Champion Yuka Sakazaki. Sakazaki became an instant hit over at All Elite Wrestling in her two appearances there earlier this year but she’s had a lot of success in her home promotion TJPW in that time. Austin faces a big challenge here but she isn’t someone to be underestimated as she has captured a dozen championships in her career to date and has competed in major promotions like Ring Of Honor, Defiant , Over The Top Wrestling and many more.
EVE Tag Team Championships: Sammii Jayne & Gisele Shaw (C) vs Medusa Complex (Millie McKenzie & Charli Evans) vs Woke Queens (Debbie Keitel & Valkyrie)
Former Champions the Woke Queens look to reclaim their titles here. The Woke Queens’ reign didn’t last long before it was cut short by the ragtag team of Gisele Shaw and Sammii Jayne. The Queens seemingly turned heel at Battle Cry when they attacked Shaw and Jayne after falling out with McKenzie in a trios match. They have a target on their back after their actions though as the Medusa Complex makes their comeback after Charli Evans’ run with Sendai Girls in Japan. Shaw and Jayne are talented on their own and both have been successful, Jayne is a former EVE champion after all, and now they’ve managed to combine their talents to form a successful team. These three talented teams will collide at WrestleQueendom 3!
EVE Championship: Rhia O’Reilly (C) vs Laura Di Matteo
At the end of Queendom 2 Rhia O’Reilly shocked the crowd when she turned heel on Viper and Kay Lee Ray and used her match-making powers to win the EVE title. Since then she’s kept a hold on the title and now at WrestleQueendom 3 she defends against Laura Di Matteo. Di Matteo has long been one of the most underrated wrestlers in Europe and she’s recently set her sights on becoming EVE champion. O’Reilly has used her numbers advantage, in her lackeys Nightshade and Livvii Grace, to keep Di Matteo down but she could only fend her off for so long. At Queendom Di Matteo finally has the chance to get her hands on the three-time EVE champion in the biggest match of her career.
Make sure to check out the show either on EVE’s VOD with the two extra exclusive matches or on LIVE on Fite TV for just 10 dollars.
