America’s Most Wanted: Killer Kross Begins Road of Free Agency

Killer Kross

Trapped in a quagmire with IMPACT Wrestling, Killer Kross has finally been granted his release from the company, after months of sitting at home in a standoff. One of the first things he did to celebrate on December 18 was release a cryptic video that teased going to NXT, AEW, Ring of Honor, NJPW, and MLW.

It didn’t take long for Kross to procure some big match-ups, announcing fights with ICW New York, AAW, and Major League Wrestling (MLW).

Earlier this week, Killer Kross returned to Lucha Libre AAA in Mexico, where he joined RUSH, LA Park and Konnan in a new stable of Los Ingobernables, RUSH’s legendary faction from his days in CMLL and the impetus of Los Igobernables de Japon in NJPW.

Killer Kross came out of his hometown Las Vegas indie scene, as a star with Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW) in 2014. In 2015 and 2016, he joined Lucha Underground and became the White Rabbit, part of Paul London‘s Rabbit Tribe in 2018. He maintained a strong presence in the West Coast indie scene, working for Bar Wrestling, Maverick Pro, West Coast Wrestling Connection (WCWC), and DEFY Wrestling. In 2017, he debuted with Mexico’s AAA and soon joined the MAD faction with Jeff Jarrett, Konnan, Teddy Hart, Juventud Guerrera, Jack Evans, El Zoro, El Divo, and Sexy Dulce (Sexy Star).

His stock increased when he signed with IMPACT Wrestling in 2018, bringing his lethal personality to national attention, becoming one of IMPACT’s biggest stars in a short time. Sadly, the relationship soured a year later, with his last IMPACT match at Slammiversary against Eddie Edwards. Since then, his better half, Scarlett Bourdeaux also left IMPACT and signed with NXT soon after. While he’s arguably the “hottest free agent” in the indies, it would stand to reason that his free agency won’t be a lengthy one, as any of the other majors would love to add someone like Killer Kross to their payroll.
