New Jersey’s Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) returns to Philadelphia on Wednesday night with Chopper City in the Ghetto, which airs live on FITE.tv at 8pm EST. For those who find NXT or AEW tame, GCW is presenting a more violent alternative to this week’s Wednesday Night Wars.

Hate Trash Disaster (SHLAK & Markus Crane) vs. YDNB (Jordon Oliver & Ellis Taylor)
Hate Trash Disaster, the violent tandem of SHLAK and Markus Crane, have been terrorizing GCW for the past few years now, including heading to Japan to compete for the GCW World Tag Team titles, currently held Los Mazisos (Ciclope & Miedo Extremo). Win or lose, Hate Trash Disaster still create a lot of mayhem in the ring. They’re facing two members of the indie stable YDNB (Young Dumb N’ Broke), a stable of young wrestlers featuring Charlie Tiger, Griffin McCoy, Valentina Vaquez, and Jae Fre. The duo repping YDNB on Wednesday is GCW regular Jordan Oliver and Ellis Taylor. Hate Trash Disaster is looking to get back in the title hunt for the GCW tag belts, but a younger and hungrier duo is looking to make their name in GCW as well.
KTB vs. Dan Maff
Dan Maff has recently signed with Ring of Honor, but he’s still got some indie matches on his plate, including this big one. KTB is GCW veteran and former GCW World Champion who has become one of the most violent big men in the sport. But Maff is no stranger to brutality and this match could end up being the bloodiest one on the card.
Jimmy Lloyd vs. Ruckus
“The Different Boy” Jimmy Lloyd has emerged as one of the young foundations of GCW, with a next level 2019 that featured an instant classic with Joey Janela. Lloyd has been a model of consistency in his battles the past year, and on Wednesday he faces a longtime indie veteran in Ruckus. Ruckus is a 20-year veteran, especially in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) where he’s a former 3x CZW World Champion. Alongside BLK JEEZ in The BLK OUT, he’s also a former 5x CZW World Tag Team Champion. Another affair that’s going to get very physical, as these two are world class hardcore fighters.
Blake Christian vs. Ophidian
Nashville’s Blake Christian has had an explosive second half of 2019, after making his GCW in his hometown earlier this summer. The in-demand high flyer has gone on to work for multiple top promotions, including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) over Battle of Los Angeles weekend, as well as Black Label Pro, IWA Mid South, and a recent IMPACT special. A regular opponent of another GCW discovery, Alex Zayne, on Wednesday he faces CHIKARA‘s Ophidian. Ophidian has become a fixture with GCW as well, with his unique athleticism and technical prowess.
Matt Tremont vs. 1 Called Manders
“The Bulldozer” Matt Tremont is one of the most violent mercenaries in the game. A former CZW and GCW World Champion, he also runs Hardcore Hustle Organization (H2O) and competes around the country on his mission of violence. What seems to be a theme, it’s another case of a veteran facing a rising star, as the hardcore monster faces 1 Called Manders on Wednesday night. Manders is only a few years into the business, but has risen quickly from his early days with Scott County Wrestling (SCW) and IWA Mid South. This year has seen him make his debuts with Beyond Wrestling, Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), Black Label Pro, Alpha-1 and much more. A big win over Tremont will help his momentum blossom.
Tony Deppen vs. Matt Vandagriff
Tony Deppen has been a longtime gatekeeper in GCW and has finally captured the attention of the indie world since debuting in 2009. He’s arguably one of GCW’s MVPs for the year, as well as working for CHIKARA and Beyond Wrestling, and this year was selected for his first PWG Battle of Los Angeles. He’s facing one of the top prospects from the West Coast, in California’s Matt Vandagriff, a student of the prestigious Santino Bros. Wrestling Academy. He’s returning for his third card from GCW, but his first on the East Coast. A regular with the likes of PCW ULTRA, Empire Wrestling Federation (EWF), Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW) and more, Vandagriff is one to watch in 2020.
GCW World Championship: Nick Gage (c) vs. Atticus Cogar
The saga revolving around GCW World Champion Nick Gage and his title belt continues. After Rickey Shane Page stole the title belt from Gage a few months ago, he’s been ducking Gage around the world. On Wednesday, Atticus Cogar – a disciple of RSP – will go one on one with Gage to try and bring the title officially to RSP’s camp. It’s an interesting situation as the last time we saw Cogar in Game Changer Wrestling – for his debut – he was kidnapped by Gage for being affiliated with RSP. Cogar is a tough nut to crack, but facing an angry Nick Gage may be a bit more than he can chew.
