Michael Oku/O.J.M.O Wins British J Cup

Michael Oku/OJMO

One of the biggest rising stars in British Wrestling the O.J.M.O, known in RevPro as Michael Oku, has won the prestigious British J Cup.  Becoming the first British wrestler to do so.  To win Oku had to defeat some of the best Junior Heavyweights in the world like Rocky Romero, Robbie Eagles, El Phantasmo and “The Bastard” PAC.

Debuting in 2017 Oku has been making his way up the cards in British Wrestling with many tipping him for success from the start.  2019 has been the year that he has started to realize that potential making his successful debut for Over The Top (OTT) Wrestling, becoming a big part of PROGRESS Wrestling’s stellar second-half of 2019 and has been trusted by RevPro to wrestle some of the world’s best like Shingo TakagiDavid Starr, and Shigehiro Irie.  2018 was the year Oku made people take notice but in 2019 he has become truly undeniable with his sights set on becoming one of the biggest stars on the scene.

Michael Oku becomes the third winner of the  British J Cup following in some big footsteps as previous winners include Jyushin Thunder Liger and El Phantasmo.  He is someone that RevPro have been building up ever so slowly and this win caps off his push to the top.
