Here We, Here We, Here We F’N Go: Davey Blaze Makes ICW Return

Davey Blaze

During night one of Insane Championship Wrestling‘s (ICW) Fear & Loathing XII, Davey Blaze made his return to the company for the first time in over two years as he saved Grado from a beatdown at the hands of Ravie Davie and his group of neds after the pair’s Scheme Lumberjack Match.

The Scottish Savage had previously been a major player in ICW between 2010 and 2017, originally starting out alongside current ICW World Heavyweight Champion Stevie Boy in a team known as The Bucky Boys, managed by both The Wee Man and the reigning NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray. While teaming with The Pharoah of Filth, Davey enjoyed two reigns as the Tag Team Champions (later adding a third reign as part of The Local Fire with Joe Hendry), before The Bucky Boys disbanded when Stevie and KLR made the jump to The New Age Kliq.

As a singles performer, Davey Blaze became a one-time Zero-G Champion after usurping his former Bucky Boys partner at Fear & Loathing VIII, later starting a rivalry with Joe Hendry after the disbanding of The Local Fire in September 2016. His last appearance in an ICW ring came the following year, where he teamed with The Fite Network (Kid Fite, Lou King Sharp, and Krieger) in a losing effort to DCT and Bad Company (Wolfgang and The Purge (Krobar and Stevie James)).

While he’s been away from ICW, Blaze has continued making his presence felt in the likes of Scottish Wrestling Alliance (SWA), British Championship Wrestling (BCW), and Premier British Wrestling (PBW), where he recently had an unsuccessful challenge at the PBW Tag Team Championships as he and Aaron Echo failed to win the titles from I-Gen (Kieran Kelly and Craig Anthony) in a Triple Threat Match also involving the team of Dean Ford and TJ Rage.
