#AndNEW: Two New SPW New Zealand Champions Crowned

During the annual Halloween Haunting event, Southern Pro Wrestling (SPW) saw two new champions crowned. First up was the crowning of new SPW New Zealand Tag Team Champions in the form of Will Power and Hammer. This was then later followed by a new SPW New Zealand Champion, Shane Sinclair, ascending to the throne in the main event of the evening.

The tag team clash featured Detention (Sky and Ryder) against Power & Hammer. This contest guaranteed new champions after the former champions Deadly Sins (JK Moody and Kane Khan) relinquished the titles to further their careers in the UK.

Both teams had earned their opportunity at the tag team gold via a tournament held during SPW Fight Nights. However, ultimately, the more experienced team of Power and Hammer would prove to be the better team on the evening.

Later in the evening in a huge triple threat elimination match Shane Sinclair would unseat the former champion Slex. During the match, the third man involved in the contest, Marcus Kool, would gain the first pinfall on Slex thus eliminating him from the match. In the ensuing chaos, Sinclair would capitalise and capture the SPW New Zealand Heavyweight gold.
