Since 2015, Limitless Wrestling has emerged as one of the top rising indie promotions of the Northeast territory. Founded by Randy Carver, Limitless has become a breeding ground for some of Maine and New England’s top local talents, as well as a Northeastern stop for many national touring talents. This Friday, Limitless returns to Yarmouth, Maine for Fresh Blood that continues Limitless’ excellence.
Alec Price vs. CJ Cruz
Two of the young guns from the area, this match is a showcase for Limitless Wrestling’s sister promotion, Let’s Wrestle! Boston’s “The Prize” Alec Price is only 20-years old, but he’s starting to make a name for himself in the New England scene, and his opponent, CJ Cruz, is a regular with Massachusetts’ Chaotic Wrestling. These two have a history together so this is a great showcase to accentuate a rivalry that’s been brewing for a while.
Skylar w/ Jeremy Leary vs. Masha Slamovich vs. Ashley Vox vs. Jody Threat vs. Allie Kat
A huge five way match-up featuring some of the top rising women in the sport. Ashley Vox is well known as being one half of The Sea Stars, making their mark with CHIKARA. She’s recently gained more national exposure as one of the first women in the NWA Women’s Division, as seen weekly on NWA Powerrr. Skylar has had a breakout year in the past few months, working in CHIKARA (as Blanche Babish) alongside Jeremy Leary, as well as competing in Beyond Wrestling in The Top Dogs tag team with Davienne. Jody Threat is a rising force in the Canadian indie scene, a regular with Smash Wrestling who has made her UK debut with PROGRESS, Fight Club: PRO and Sendai Girls, and is currently breaking out in the US indie scene. Allie Kat is yet another great talent to come out of the Texas indie scene of late, now a regular with the likes of CHIKARA, Black Label Pro, Beyond Wrestling, and Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW). Masha Slamovich is a young talent just starting out, but the Russian has shown great potential with House of Glory, Womens Superstars Uncensored (WSU), and more, including an appearance on IMPACT Xplosion this past summer in a match against Jordynne Grace.
Dan Maff vs. Matthew Justice
A tale of two veteran heavyweights, with two very different paths. Dan Maff was a part of Ring of Honor during its formative years, as a 2x ROH World Tag Team Champion alongside BJ Whitmer in The Prophecy. He’s also known for his lengthy run with Monsta Mack in Da Hit Squad, who were monsters of the East Coast indie scene – they’re former 6x Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW) Tag Team Champions, 2x Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) Tag Team Champions, and former Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) World Tag Team Champions. But he’s also a sinister brute in singles action, and on Friday he’ll be going into battle solo. His opponent is one of the top veterans in the Midwest scene, as Matthew Justice is the reigning and 2x AIW Intense Champion. He’s also bringing the fight in GCW, IWA Mid South, Beyond Wrestling, and more, after spending a lengthy run with International Wrestling Cartel (IWC) in Pennsylvania.
John Silver vs. Leyla Hirsch
It’s a case of experience versus youth, as two stars of the Eastern indie scene collide on Friday night at Fresh Blood. John Silver is a veteran of the New York City scene and longtime member of The Beaver Boys with Alex Reynolds. He’s also a regular with Beyond Wrestling and was just recently the CZW World Heavyweight Champion. On Friday he goes head-to-head with one of the most exciting women’s wrestlers rising the ranks in New Jersey’s “Legit” Layla Hirsch. A product of the CZW Dojo, Hirsch has become an emerging superstar on the US indies, including big wins over Mercedes Martinez, LuFisto, and Shazza McKenzie. She recently made her European debut, working with Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) and England’s Pro Wrestling EVE. This is a rematch from a great encounter from the first season of Beyond’s Uncharted Territory.
Alexander Lee w/ Joey Eastman vs. Gangrel vs. Danhausen vs. DL Hurst
Alexander Lee (formerly Scotty Vegas) is a 16-year veteran of the Maine/New England indie scene, where he’s a 5x Independent Wrestling Entertainment (IWE) Heavyweight Champion out of Bangor. Since 2017, he’s been a part of the Maine State Posse stable, and running havoc throughout the area. He’s facing off against three other men in a Fatal Four Way with some Halloween suitable opponents. Former WWE Superstar Gangrel has been a steady presence in the US indies since his departure from WWE nearly 20 years ago, particularly on the West Coast where he runs a wrestling school with WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi. Danhausen is another Midwest veteran from Detroit whose descension into the macabre over the past few years has seen his popularity explode in the past year. DL Hurst is an emerging star from the New England scene whose been turning heads with Chaotic Wrestling since his debut in 2017 and is making appearances with EVOLVE Wrestling, Beyond, and many others.
Maine State Posse (Aiden Aggro & DangerKid) vs. Violence is Forever (Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku)
Speaking of the Maine State Posse, the stable’s tag team specialists of Aiden Aggro and DangerKid will be in action on Friday night. The duo has been a legit tag team threat throughout New England, as 2x Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Champions and 2x Northeast Championship Wrestling (NCW) Tag Team Champions. One of the best tag teams in the Northeast right now, MSP will be facing one of the best tag teams from the Southern indies, when Violence is Forever arrives in Yarmouth on Friday. Kevin Ku has been an emerging star from Nashville with the likes of Southern Underground Pro (SUP), but when he partnered with Ohio’s Dominic Garrini (formerly of EVOLVE and the Catch Point stable) as Sadkampf, the two clicked and became a tag team with a presence, with big matches in Beyond Wrestling, Black Label Pro, GCW, and even in Germany with wXw. Since rebranded as Violence is Forever, they’re the reigning SUP Tag Team Champions and Pro Wrestling Freedom Tag Team Champions.
Kris Statlander vs. Caleb Konley
You’d be hard-pressed to find any indie wrestler in the US have a bigger breakout year than Kris Statlander. Only a three year pro, she’s risen the ranks quickly and with authority, becoming a regular with Beyond Wrestling and working with the likes of GCW, SHIMMER, Bar Wrestling, and more. She’s had fierce battles with the likes of Jordynne Grace, Allysin Kay, Leyla Hirsch and more, and has shown she’s fearless in intergender clashes against the likes of David Starr, Chris Dickinson, and Nick Gage. She’s going intergender once again on Friday, facing former NWA star and former IMPACT Wrestling wrestler Caleb Konley. Konley is a veteran of the Mid Atlantic indie circuit as well as is a vastly underrated athlete. This could potentially steal the entire show.
Fred Yehi vs. Daniel Garcia
Another potential match of the night. Fred Yehi is arguably one of the most underrated performers of the past five years. Following his start in the Southern indies, he broke out with EVOLVE Wrestling as part of Catch Point, capturing the EVOLVE Tag Team Championship with ROH’s Tracey Williams. He also had a 562-day reign as Full Impact Pro (FIP) World Champion. But since leaving EVOLVE, Yehi somewhat disappeared from a lot of people’s radars. But the past year he’s seen a resurgence and once again people are discovering why he’s been one of the best-kept secrets of the US indies. His opponent is another of Beyond Wrestling’s breakout stars of Uncharted Territory season one, Buffalo’s “Red Death” Daniel Garcia. Garcia is no stranger to Limitless and its almost become another home for the regular for Empire State Wrestling (ESW) in Buffalo and Smash Wrestling in Toronto, Canada. Garcia is starting to gain national attention now, and this match could be an instant classic.
Limitless World Championship: Anthony Greene (c) vs. Josh Briggs
Last month, Anthony Greene ended MJF‘s reign as Limitless World Champion at 181-days at Limitless: Know Your Enemy. The “Retro Wrestler” is having a banner year, going from novelty act to full-blown superstar – as well as being the reigning Limitless World Champion, he also held the CZW World Championship this year. He’s in for a fight for his first World title defense, as he faces off against a wrecking ball called Josh Briggs. Briggs has been a force in Limitless for years now, as well as a regular with Beyond, EVOLVE, and other Northeast and Canadian indies. After big wins over Darby Allin, Teddy Hart, AR Fox, and Brody King, Briggs is on a bit of a losing streak in Limitless, losing his last two to Chris Dickinson and Andrew Everett. But all bets are off when the World title is on the line, and Briggs has shown he can step up in the Big Fight.
