Rickey Shane Page has been a wanted man since late September when he crashed Nick Gage‘s celebration of winning Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)‘s Nick Gage Invitational 4. After attacking Gage, Rickey Shane Page stole Gage’s GCW World Championship belt and fled the country – literally. Page declared that he was going to show what a true World Champion does, and proceeded to have matches in Canada with Alpha-1, England with Fight Club: PRO, and a month-long tour with Big Japan Wrestling (BJW).

It didn’t take long for the GCW World Champion to address the situation when he was given a live mic a few days later at Joey Janela’s Curtain Call. The “hit” was put out internationally, with Gage warning RSP that he was giving open orders for any members of his “gang-affiliated” MDK peers and fans to take him out.

In his first match back in the United States this past Friday, Rickey Shane Page was booked to work Horror Slam, an emerging hardcore promotion in Detroit, Michigan. Intriguingly, so was Nick Gage. Hours before the event, RSP continued to taunt the GCW World Champion, his stolen belt hanging from Page’s shoulders.
Running late to @SlamHorror but I’ll be there soon. Hi Nick. @GCWrestling_ pic.twitter.com/AgXKMGXAph

Following the event, Horror Slam released a video, that was shared by GCW, of Page attempting to cut another promo on Nick Gage, when he was approached by GCW regulars SHLAK, Eric Ryan, and Jimmy Lloyd, all of whom were also on the Horror Slam card. It wasn’t long before Gage found Page, but in the melee, Page escaped. He left his bag behind, but after ripping it apart, the GCW World Championship belt was still nowhere to be found.

Rickey Shane Page continues to go on the run holding Gage’s World title belt captive, but Gage still remains the recognized World Champion, now approaching 675 days. The showdown between Gage and RSP is coming, there’s no doubt about it. But will it be just another notch in the reign of the King Nick Gage, or will RSP finally be able to call himself the real World Champion?
