ITV, one of the UK’s largest television channels, announced today that ITV4 would be the broadcast home for All Elite Wrestling‘s AEW Dynamite when it debuts next week. Unfortunately, the news didn’t exactly ignite the passion of fans in the United Kingdom, who found out that instead of airing live on October 2 when it debuts in the US on TNT, it would air on a tape delay days later on Sunday, October 6 at 8:20 in the morning.
🔊 Announcement! ITV is to show brand new weekly wrestling show AEW: Dynamite on free to air television from next month. The run will start with the full two hour show on @ITV4 on Sun 6 Oct at 0820 followed by a one hour highlights programme on ITV on Mon 7 Oct at 11.45pm (1/2)

But later in the evening, Fite.tv announced a new international package called AEW Plus, a subscription service for only $4.99 per month that will allow access to watch the four weekly episodes each month and retain them on-demand in case you miss it.

In the press release from both AEW and Fite, they stated that this new subscription package will be available for regions outside of the US and Canada, “including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Japan, Italy, Spain, Chile, Brazil and the Middle East.” A Canadian host channel, rumored to be TSN, is expected to be announced shortly.
“FITE answered our call, and the call of AEW fans outside of North America, to offer the best global platform and partner for our wildly successful DOUBLE OR NOTHING event earlier this year, but that was just the start,” AEW President Tony Khan mentioned in the presser. “The power of AEW will now be readily available live and internationally with AEW Plus, and that’s thanks to FITE, which combines the best technology with the passion of delivering our shows to audiences throughout the world.”
