At a WWE house show in the Philippines EC3 became a two-time WWE 24/7 Champion. It’s the first time that this title has changed hands on a house show and could be something we see more of going forward. EC3 has not had a huge presence on WWE TV lately and his last appearance, outside of Main Event, was at Super ShowDown as part of the 50-man battle royal which was won by Mansoor.

The joy was short-lived for EC3 though as R-Truth would win the title back later thanks to an assist from Chad Gable. R-Truth is now SEVENTEEN-time 24/7 champion and the forty-ninth champion in the title’s short history. He continues to have a target on his back as he can be pinned at any time.
