Stardom’s “Big Rookie” Utami Hayashishita will miss the remainder of Stardom’s 5STAR Grand Prix due to a finger injury.
Due to a finger injury, Utami Hayashishita will drop out of the 5★STAR GP 2019 and her remaining matches will be treated as a loss, and her opponents gain 2 points. (This is not the same finger that was injured earlier in the year.) Please send well wishes to Utami. pic.twitter.com/fyKkwxCRmV

It is Hayashishita’s second such injury of the year after she missed two months of Stardom shows earlier this year. Hayashishita is a big miss for the tournament as she was one of the forerunners in the Blue Stars block and has been positioned in the main event/ Semi-main event for multiple shows.
This is the second issue Stardom have faced during this tournament after Kasey Owens was unable to compete due to VISA issues.
Utami Hayashishita has been on the receiving end of a super push ever since her debut last year. Within her first six months, she held five championships, won the Rookie Of The Year tournament and made it to the final of her first 5STAR GP. One has to wonder though if Stardom may be hesitant to push her if she becomes injury-prone as this is her second injury in 2019.
