The last stop on the road to Ally Pally PROGRESS Chapter 94: Physician Heal Thyself is set to have major implications for PROGRESS’ next big show. A number one contender’s match, a mini tournament to face Meiko Satomura and the opportunity to pick the stipulation for CCBlahhh vs LAX and Kingston are all up for grabs at PROGRESS Chapter 94.
Paul Robinson vs Lucky Kid
This match has ramifications for the Rumble which will crown the first Proteus Champion. Whoever wins this match gets to enter last while the loser must enter first. This match happened at Chapter 93 and Robinson walked away victorious
Anti Fun Police (Chief Deputy Dunne & Los Federales Santos Jr) vs South Pacific Power Trip (TK Cooper & NIWA)
Fractures appear to be forming in the South Pacific Power Trip between Travis Banks and the team of Cooper and NIWA. Following two consecutive defeats in the tag team division, the duo now look to get back on track against the Anti-Fun Police who are looking for their first tag team win in PROGRESS since November 2018.
Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) vs Do Not Resucitate (Spike Trivet & Present William Eaver)
A number one contenders match in the PROGRESS tag team division. Aussie Open lost the tag team titles at Chapter 93 to their old rivals Grizzled Young Veterans and will be looking to immediately get back into the title picture with a win here. DNR has been on a bit of a roll ever since their crushing defeat at SSS16 and are looking ahead as they have been on a mission to recruit new members too. One such new member could make their presence felt here to help them gain victory.
Revelations Of Divine Love Semi-Final: Candyfloss vs Chakara
It would be tough to find two performers more different than Chakara and Candyfloss. Both have been tipped for success since the beginning of their careers but they have gone about it in different ways. While Candyfloss, as the name suggests, is sweet as sugar and has a bright personality Chakara is all attitude, almost akin to former PROGRESS women’s champion Jinny. Despite their different approaches both are rising stars in the UK wrestling scene and a win in this tournament to not only win the PROGRESS title but earn a match with Meiko Satomura would be huge for either.
Revelations Of Divine Love Semi-Final: Jordynne Grace vs Dani Luna
The current reigning and defending PROGRESS Women’s champion is the obvious favourite to win this tournament going in. Since winning the title no one has come close to being on Grace’s level in the PROGRESS women’s division. The current Celtic Crown Women’s Champion and Maiden Of Chaos champion Dani Luna has come out of nowhere to become one of the fastest rising stars in British Wrestling in 2019 and would love nothing more than to upset the champion here and become PROGRESS Women’s champion.
Revelations Of Divine Love Final Will Also Take Place at Chapter 94
Eddie Kingston vs Chris Brookes
The winner of this match gets to choose the stipulation when CCK (Brookes and Jonathan Gresham) and Lucky Kid take on Kingston and LAX (Santana & Ortiz) at Chapter 95. The “leaders” of the two groups go head to head here as the brawler Eddie Kingston goes head to head with Brookes who has always been more at home in tag team competition. While that may give Kingston the advantage you can never look past Brookes especially with Kid around to help him out if needs be.
