Austin Theory Appears At NXT Takeover: Toronto and Promises to Return

Austin Theory

At tonight’s NXT Takeover: Toronto, the current EVOLVE Wrestling Champion, Austin Theory made his appearance as the traditional cameo appearance between matches. At just 21, Austin Theory has been a name who has been coveted by the major promotions and has proven why he is that good and that desired.

Austin Theory has been the EVOLVE champ for a consecutive 239 days. He is a former 2-time WWN Champion and has also won the top title for the Lucha promotion known as THE CRASH and held it for over two months. Austin Theory’s latest accomplishment includes main eventing the promotion’s 10th Anniversary Show against JD Drake in a title-for-title unification match. The show aired on the WWE Network and assisted by WWE’s excellent production team. It also featured Theory getting the stamp of approval from Paul Heyman, who called him the future of professional wrestling.

But for Austin Theory, the future is now as the champion of champions, the so-called real superstar, has made his way to NXT. In addition to his cameo appearance, Theory cut a promo that was posted to EVOLVE’s Twitter account. He complimented EVOLVE and its stable of wrestlers while also promising to return at the next NXT TakeOver as well as in WWE sometime soon.
