Last night was a heck of a night for wrestling. Over at House Of Glory though, their main event had a couple of All Elite Wrestling teams going at it for the last time in a HOG ring as The Young Bucks faced off against Private Party. In what you can imagine was one wild match, the Young Bucks came out the victors and celebrated with the crowd and their tag team partners. However, the biggest announcement was yet to come as the Bucks would reveal a major announcement.

The Bucks would announce that a rematch would be held between them and Private Party, however, the stakes were raised as the match would be the first match of the AEW on TNT Tag Team Championship tournament. After the match, the teams were attacked by Brian XL and others, but a certain Hangman would have none of that as Hangman Page’s music hit as he ran to the ring and helped clear out the melee that ensued. Page got on the mic to thank the fans and talk a bit about making it in the business.

AEW has made it very clear that the tag team division would be the best one in the world and that the division would have a heavy spotlight once the show makes it to cable television in the Fall. CEO and President of All Elite Wrestling, Tony Khan originally announced the tag team tournament and it’s heavy focus on the return of The Steve Austin Show back on June 18th, 2019.
Tony Khan stated the following on a tag team tournament to crown AEW’s inaugural tag team champions in the fall:
“We’re super focused on it. One of the things that we’re going to be focused on and one of the things we’re going to do is establish a great tag team (division). When we launch our weekly television show in the fall, we’re going to be doing a tag team tournament that’s going to have some of the greatest tag team matches ever on T.V. And we’re going to be starting that, and it’s going to be one of the main focuses on our T.V. There’s going to be teams competing to get a first-round bye in that tournament, which is a big deal. And we’ve got some of the best tag teams in all of the wrestling competing for our tag team championship coming up in the fall.”

With the announcement from the Bucks last night, this not only sets the tone for what’s to come in the Fall but will also provide the fans with new faces Private Party who will get a new and worldwide exposure come the Fall. This along with fresh and some of the most exciting matches ever seen will be worthwhile. Don’t miss All Elite Wrestling on TNT with the debut show on October 2nd, 2019. The following week on October 9th will be the beginning of the tag team championship tournament with The Bucks and Private Party.
He will face Adam Page on August 31st at All Out for the AEW World Championship.
