Purrazzo, Green and Evers United and VXT

There’s a new stable formed in NXT and, while they haven’t made their TV debut, they’ve got the experience and talent to become one of the most dominant trios in NXT. Over the past few weeks, the unit of Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green, and Rachael Evers have been working in tandem as the group known as VXT (a play on the word “vexed”, meaning affected with, marked by, or causing trouble).

Donna Purrazzo was one of the top women’s prospects in the world when she signed with WWE in the summer of 2018. She’d worked NXT before in enhancement, as well taken part in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, but she was also a regular with Ring of Honor and Japan’s Stardom and worked for IMPACT, RISE, and multiple other companies as a freelancer. “The Virtuoso” has been working NXT Live Events since last August and now with VXT, they are on the verge of making some big noise.

Rachael Evers has also been around NXT before in enhancement as well as partaking in the first two Mae Young Classics. The daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering, Evers competed as Rachael Ellering on the indies with SHIMMER, Queens of Combat (QOC), RISE and more, including a tour with Stardom in 2017 and 2018. She finally joined WWE early this year and has been working the NXT Live Events since the spring.

Chelsea Green, another Lance Storm student like Evers, first worked with WWE with Tough Enough in 2015. But when she wasn’t signed by WWE, she didn’t rest on her laurels. She toured with Stardom in 2016 then joined IMPACT Wrestling, where she became Laurel Van Ness. As LVN, she joined Maria Kanellis‘ stable, but after being left at the altar, she converted to the “Hot Mess” character that many have fallen in love with (and who ultimately won the IMPACT Knockouts Championship). She left IMPACT in early 2018, returning to the indies with SHIMMER, QOC, RISE, Bar Wrestling, and more, before signing with WWE by the year’s end. She was originally supposed to make her NXT TV debut this past spring, but at her debut NXT Tapings, she was severely injured and has just returned to NXT Live Event action last month. And it looks like she’s found some new friends in VXT.
