In Mexico on Sunday night, KAOZ Lucha Libre held a triple threat to crown the new KAOZ Heavyweight Championship, featuring CMLL and ROH star Rush, lucha legend LA Park and Mexican veteran Hechicero. The triple threat was originally supposed to be a Fatal Four Way with recently crowned KAOZ Heavyweight Champion Diamante Azul (who won the title this past February), but the champion never made the show and the title was declared vacant. KAOZ is a new promotion launched in the spring of 2018 by Alfonso Botello. KAOZ is featured on BeIN Sports USA, the same channel that houses Major League Wrestling (MLW).

In the end, it was Rush he won the match and the championship, and as his star continues to ascend in the US with his work with Ring of Honor, he’s only adding to his legacy in Mexico, where the founder and leader of Los Ingobernables is already a legend.
