Smash Wrestling, one of Canada’s premier indie promotions and based out of Toronto, has announced a huge four-day event at the beginning of August that will see Smash team up with London, England’s PROGRESS Wrestling and Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) for a series of special events.

Wednesday, August 7 – PROGRESS x SMASH 8pm
Smash and PROGRESS have hooked up before. Back in 2016, at the beginning of the UK indie boom, the Canadian promotion hosted PROGRESS’ first foray into the North American scene in a 3-night series of events in Toronto and Oshawa. It featured stars like Zack Sabre Jr., Mark Haskins, Ligero, Jack Gallagher, and more against Canadian/Smash stars like Tyson Dux, Brent Banks, Tarik and more, it exposed many Candian fans to their first taste of PROGRESS.
Thursday, August 8 – PROGRESS 8pm
On Thursday night, PROGRESS will be holding their first PROGRESS Chapter show in Canada, with a stand-alone event for the UK promotion.
Friday August 9 – wXw 4pm
Germany’s wXw is heading to Canada for their first ever Canadian date, months after making the US debut this past WrestleMania week in New York City. wXw is the home promotion for the likes of WWE UK Champion WALTER, as well as David Starr, Timothy Thatcher, Lucky Kid and many more.
Friday August 9 – Smash Wrestling: Super Showdown VII 8pm
Smash then runs their own stand-alone event on Friday night, which will undoubtedly still feature stars from wXw and PROGRESS competing alongside the stars of Smash Wrestling. Super Showdown is Smash’s biggest show of the year, so expect a lot of international flair to compete against Smash’s stunning homegrown talent.
Saturday, August 10 – Magen Boys Supershow
Magen Boys is an entertainment company that specializes in big parties, and to close out the week, they’ll be throwing a Supershow party. Details are still being finalized.
