When NOVA Pro announced they were going on hiatus and had to withdraw from Game Changer Wrestling‘s The Collective series over WrestleMania week, GCW assumed the timeslot and announced that Orange Cassidy would be getting his own event. It’s shaping up to be one of the more fun, comedy-centric matches, but don’t let that comedic aspect dissuade you. They’re still full of top tier talent, and the show will be running on Saturday April 6 at 12 noon. Like all Collective events, the Orange Cassidy show is being held at the White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The 3rd Annual Jansport Invitational Scramble: Sonny Defarge vs. Tony Deppen vs. Jigsaw vs. Lucky 13 vs. Jake Atlas vs. Air Wolf vs. Dan Champion
This scramble match, that is actually not sanctioned, approved or endorsed by the sporting and collegiate apparel company Jansport, features a wildly diverse group of talent in a 7-man scramble. Sonny Defarge is a one half of a former CHIKARA Campeonatos de Parajas (Tag Team Champion) duo with Cornelius Crummels, and while the two continue to chase the gold in CHIKARA, Defarge will try his hand as a singles wrestler. He’s joined by two more CHIKARA regulars in F.I.S.T.‘s Tony Deppen and the CHIKARA Original Jigsaw. Lucky 13 is a 15-year veteran of Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), GCW and Hardcore Hustle Organization (H2O), where he’s the reigning H2O Heavyweight Champion. Jake Atlas is one of the West Coast’s breakout stars of 2019, and the PCW ULTRALight Champion will be looking to leave his mark in the East this week. Dan Champion is another long time veteran of the indies, while Air Wolf is a 19-year emerging star from the Minnesota indie scene.
Teddy Hart’s Reading Rainbow (featuring Mr. Velvet & Caspian)
This won’t be your parent’s Reading Rainbow, hosted by sweet, sweet Levar Burton (Geordie LaForge for you Star Trek fans). Well, unless one of your parents was a Hart family member, then it just might have been. But Teddy Hart, alongside his two beloved cats Mr. Velvet and Caspian, will read some stories to those in the audience and at home.
Chuck Taylor vs. Trent Baretta (1-Minute Time Limit)
A longtime friendship implodes for 60 seconds, as Best Friends have a spat in a showdown between Chuck Taylor and Trent Baretta in a grudge match with a ONE MINUTE TIME LIMIT. Over/under on the post-match reconciliation hug lasts longer than the match?
Lumberjack Swamp Monster Match: Shotzi Blackheart vs. Saraya Knight vs. Allie Kat vs. Kris Statlander
Four tough mujer throw down in a lumberjack fatal four-way match. The West Coast’s feisty war child, Shotzi Blackheart, will go into battle against one of the matriarchs of women’s wrestling in the UK and the world’s toughest wrestlers in Saraya Knight. They face two stars heading into big 2019 years, in Texas’ Allie Kat, and new sensation Kris Statlander, who is blowing up with Beyond Wrestling, GCW, Black Label Pro and more. But this is no ordinary lumberjack match. It won’t be other wrestlers from the card – it will be a Swamp Monster patroling the outside of the ring. As in the Swamp Monster, the former running mate of host Orange Cassidy in The Gentlemen’s Club, a stable that also featured Chuck Taylor, Drew Gulak and Jake Manning.
5 O’Clock Somewhere Last Person Standing Match: Nate Webb vs “Session Moth” Martina
Ireland’s “Session Moth” Martina has been longing for a deathmatch in the US and this may be the closest she’s gotten yet. She’s facing off against 20-year hardcore veteran Nate “Spyder” Webb, a 2x IWA Mid South Light Heavyweight Champion and CZW World Tag Team Champion. He’s fought a lot of wars. But judging by the name, this may not be a deathmatch last person standing match – but a drinking contest. And we don’t care how tough looking Webb looks, he won’t outdrink Martina. And then we’ll get a new photo to add to Martina’s “Bants with…” photo series on Twitter.
So guys, it’s been confirmed, it is not, I repeat NOT BANTS to grind on @suzuki_D_minoru #RIPMOTH pic.twitter.com/qr1Xx9ashh

Best 7-out-of-13 Falls Match: Logan Easton LaRoux vs. Chris Brookes
It will be a match for the ages. A testament to the stamina of early grapplers like Frank Gotch and Lou Thesz, and the longevity of the sport itself. It’ll also probably be slightly silly. In an unheard of Best 7-out-of-13 Falls Match, emerging US indie star Logan Easton LaRoux will look for a big international win. Formerly known as CHIKARA star Race Jaxson of NRG (and now the brilliant BLANK), another persona from Jaxson’s splintering mind is the dash Logan Easton LaRoux, who has been a star with NOVA Pro and Beyond Wrestling. He’s facing one of the most decorated men in British tag team wrestling in CCK‘s Chris Brookes from the UK. A megastar with PROGRESS, Revolution Pro, Defiant and any ring you put him in, this will be a unique showcase pitting traditional US indie style against the modern UK style.
Nova Dodgeball 10-Person Pick ’em Tag Team Match: Team Veda Scott vs. Team Faye Jackson (Eligible Wrestlers: Red Eagle, Wheeler YUTA, MJF, Jeff Cannonball, Terra Calaway, Arik Royal, Daniel Makabe, Shazza McKenzie & Sage Phillips)
Team captains Veda Scott and Faye Jackson will be lining up eight other wrestlers and picking squads like schoolyard dodgeball, before engaging in a 10-person tag team match up. Lots of talent to choose from, such as Aussie sensation Shazza McKenzie, high flying breakout star Wheeler YUTA, and hardcore specialist Jeff Cannonball from GCW. Some good emerging talent like Canada’s Daniel Makabe, Portugal’s Red Eagle, Midwest prospect Sage Phillips and Mid Atlantic indie veteran Arik Royal. Las Vegas’ Terra Calaway can add some power and unpredictability, and I think we can all agree that the disreputable MJF will be picked last? I mean, where did this cute kid go?

Jonathan Gresham vs. Shinjiro Otani
The Japanese legend Shinjiro Otani, a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, WCW Cruiserweight Champion and ZERO1 World Junior Heavyweight Champion in his 27th year in the sport, will face off against one of the US’ most underrated technical wizards in Jonathan Gresham.
Yuletide Deathmatch: UltraMantis Black vs. Nick Gage
This could crush a lot of childhood nostalgic feels. If you’ve ever witnessed CHIKARA legend and former Grand Champion UltraMantis Black, then you’re familiar with his fascination with Christmas – both his arms are covered in sleeve tattoos that pay the ultimate homage to the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. And on Saturday afternoon, he’s going to war against perhaps the biggest Grinch in pro wrestling, Nick Gage. The King of American hardcore is as tough as they come and it would be interesting to see how Black responds to tinsel covered bats or landing on a sea of Sugar Plums.
We’ll continue to update cards as new matches are added to the show, including details on the role for Orange Cassidy at the event, are added throughout the week
