Tenille Dashwood was released from the WWE in late 2017 and made her ROH debut in the Women of Honor World Championship tournament in early 2018. As Emma, she worked with the WWE from 2012 through 2017, beginning in NXT. The Australian made her wrestling debut in 2008 with Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA) before moving to Calgary, Alberta, Canada to train with Lance Storm. She began to work for Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW) on Canada’s West Coast as well as SHIMMER in the US before signing with the WWE in 2012.
While 2018 was supposed to be a breakout year for Tenille after years of misuse in the WWE, her quick start with ROH became plagued by health issues. She took an extended leave to deal with a severe case of Psoriasis that had plagued her since her teens and upon return had to leave again for shoulder surgery. Her last appearance for ROH was at ROH Death Before Dishonor this past September, in a loss against then-WOH World Champion Sumie Sakai.
Now that Dashwood is fully healed, healthy and a free agent, she has plenty of options. While it’s always possible she returns to the WWE or NXT, she would likely also be on the radar for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and IMPACT Wrestling, or could simply take some time and work with multiple indies around the world.
