In a career versus title match, Kool took on former champion Kane Khan in what has been described as a Match Of The Year candidate. During the match, Khan was able to kick out of three successive moonsaults but ultimately fell to a man whose career was on the line.
One of the hardest lads I’ve ever been in the ring with. @KaneKhan4 is going to be a massive star one day.
I ain’t ready to pack it in yet though 🍺 https://t.co/Z4dzwHn3m9

With this victory, Kool becomes a two-time SPW New Zealand Champion. For Kool, his next big challenge is likely to come at the SPW Southern Rumble on July 13.
