Fight Forever Wrestling Announces Partnership with FITE TV

Fight Forever FITE TV

This morning, Fight Forever Wrestling, one of the United Kingdom’s newest and most promising independent wrestling promotions, made a huge announcement. The company, which was established toward the end of 2018 and has run just four shows so far, is partnering with FITE TV for their next two shows, a double-PPV event that will be filmed on March 29th.

Founded by brothers, Jonathon and Simon Kay, Fight Forever Wrestling was born out of a mission to “bring together 6,000 likeminded wrestling fans in attendance at the most ambitiously anticipated and hugely entertaining wrestling tour in UK history.”

With no formal background in the business outside of being huge pro wrestling fans, the brothers did just that, self-financing a four-show, four city tour that featured some of the top names and up-and-coming wrestling stars in the world. On the first card, Phenomena, Jimmy Havoc defeated Chris Ridgeway, Brandi Rhodes defeated Bea Priestley, Fraser Thomas defeated Zack Gibson, James Drake, Flash Morgan Webster, El Ligero, Amir Jordan and Joseph Connors, El Phantasmo defeated Mark Haskins and Millie McKenzie and Flip Gordon became the first ever women and men’s champions. Cody Rhodes, who was supposed to wrestle but couldn’t due to injury, was also in attendance. Not to mention the promotion had partnered with Bruce Pritchard‘s Something to Wrestle With podcast where a new episode was recorded each night of the tour.

Not too shabby a first-ever card for a promotion run by two guys who were putting on their first-ever show.

In early December, the Kays’ 6,000 fan tour ran through four cities in England: Birmingham, London, Bristol and Liverpool. Each show was more exciting than the last, finally culminating with Joe Hendry and Bea Priestley becoming the new champions. In addition, there were tons of first-time ever and new-and-exciting matchups at all four shows – shows where fans no doubt wanting the fighting to continue forever.

Shortly after the success of its debut tour and the big names the company had secured to work it, Fight Forever announced their next two shows, Dance of the Dragon and Fight Syndrome. Again, the brothers are planning to bring in huge names, with newly minted All Elite Wrestling star PAC, headlining Fight Syndrome as well as Candy Floss, David Starr, El Phantasmo and Joe Hendry scheduled to appear.

With wrestling continuing to boom worldwide, now is the time for promotions, like Fight Forever, to really establish themselves as big players on the scene. And now is the time for fans to get a chance to see the product, as not only will the shows be on FITE in April, but the first, Dance of the Dragon, will debut for free.
