#AndNEW: Justin Dynamite, Zeuxis and Leinord White Win Gold in CWA

Championship Wrestling Association‘s Christmas Showdown is behind us, and incredible happened during the show. Justin Dynamite, arguably the most promising star in CWA, defeated Star Roger to win the CWA Championship.

Dynamite ended a historic title run by Roger, who’s 700+ days as champion were longer than Carlos Colon‘s 655 days as WWC Universal Champion. The match was a two-out-of-three falls match and had many twist and turns. Dynamite was able to beat Roger in the middle of the ring to win the newly re-designed championship. With the win, Justin won CWA most prestigious prize that as champions in the last three year Dennis Rivera, Jay Lethal and Star Roger.

CWA is already going big with this win. After the match, Mecha Wolf 450 alongside his brother Morgan and partner Tabu, invaded the main event celebration. The collective who is known as Westside Mafia, challenged Justin and Roger, while also dragging El Mesias into the feud. Now, for the next CWA show, it will be CWA Champion Justin Dynamite alongside Star Roger & El Mesias vs. Mecha Wolf 450, Morgan & Tabu.

Zeuxis & Leinord White Win Gold

Justin wasn’t the only wrestler to win gold this Sunday. Former CMLL wrestler Zeuxis became the first ever CWA Women’s Champion when she beat Tessa Blanchard for the inaugural title. After the match, Tessa attacked Zeuxis, but, former WWL wrestler, Roxxy, made the safe and made it clear that she was the next challenger of Zeuxis’s title.

Also, Leinord White, won for the second time in his career the CWA Intercontinental Championship. White faced DJ Z, Matt Cross, Rey Horus, Neixen and the Champion, Maxx Stardom, who was managed by Major League Wrestling’s Salina de la Renta. The match had incredible action and showed that White could hang with some of the best in the world right now. The CWA Intercontinental Championship was also presented with a new look.
