On the first night of the World Series Wrestling (WSW) International Assault: The Elite Takeover tour in Victoria, Australia last night, “The Villain” Marty Scurll announced he was launching Villain Enterprises as his new unit, his first post-Bullet Club move since the announcement that the members of The Elite – The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, Hangman Page and Scurll – were no longer affiliated with the most popular faction in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Marty Scurll was facing Australian indie star Adam Brooks, who took part in this year’s Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) Battle of Los Angeles, and after defeating Brooks, the Aussie star was further attacked by one of the US indies breakout stars of 2018, the monster Brody King. Following the match, Scurll cut a promo where he announced the tandem would henceforth be known as Villain Enterprises, signalling the union with Brody King would not be a one-time thing.

VILLAIN ENTERPRISES: THE VILLAIN’S FINAL BATTLE
It was also announced today by Ring of Honor that at ROH Final Battle ’18 on December 14, 2018, that Marty Scurll will compete against Christopher Daniels (in potentially Daniels’ final ROH appearance). Could Brody King join “The Villain” to counter the other members of SCU (Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky)? Having an enforcer as dark as Brody King is a great addition to one of pro wrestling’s most dastardly characters. It was reported a couple weeks ago that Brody King was on the verge of signing with Ring of Honor and slated to make his debut around Final Battle, so this could be his path into the company. While Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks are finishing up with Ring of Honor, reports have stated that Scurll signed an extension that will take him through April.

VILLAIN ENTERPRISES: BRODY KING
Brody King has emerged as one of the most athletic big men in wrestling, and after two years learning the ropes on the West Coast indie circuit since he debuted in 2015, exploded in 2018. The 31-year old, trained by the Santino Bros, is new to the business, after a musical career in the hardcore band God’s Hate.
He spent his first couple years working Santino Bros shows, before moving on to other territorial promotions like Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, Empire Wrestling Federation (EWF) and Alternative Wrestling Show (AWS). In 2017, he began working the likes of DEFY Wrestling in Seattle, Smash Wrestling in Canada, and Major League Wrestling (MLW), but in 2018, the kid gloves were off.
He made his PWG debut this February, and by the fall was an entrant in the 2018 Battle of Los Angeles – oddly enough, his PWG debut at Neon Knights was against the debuting Adam Brooks, who handed King a loss. He’s continued to work with MLW on their television show, MLW Fusion, and became a regular with the likes of Bar Wrestling, Chicago’s All American Wrestling (AAW), PCW ULTRA, EVOLVE, Beyond Wrestling, and worked for PROGRESS on their US tour.
