As seen on last night’s NXT, Bobby Fish returned to the ring to aid Undisputed Era retain their NXT Tag Team titles against War Raiders, getting physical for the first time since getting injured back in the Spring.
It was only back in March that the NXT Superstar, and at the time NXT Tag Team champion, Bobby Fish was injured at an NXT Live Event. Fish was in a tag match with Undisputed Era teammate Kyle O’Reilly against Heavy Machinery. Fish was injured during the match, which was quickly followed by the referee throwing up the X signal. Based on a number of images posted online, it looked like Fish had just taken a bad bump to the knee when he was injured. O’Reilly had to finish the match solo once Fish was brought backstage for treatment. Undisputed Era stablemate Adam Cole did intervene in the match after Fish’s injury. At the time, it wasn’t revealed how severe the injury was. However, it was speculated that he might be out for some time.

Not too long later, it was revealed that he had torn both his ACL and MCL, which required surgery. After six months off, Bobby Fish made a surprise return on Wednesday’s episode of WWE NXT. While he’s been seen on-screen in a number of backstage segments – in order to make sure he stayed in the public eye – he hasn’t served in a physical capacity since the injury in March. It’s unclear how long Bobby Fish has been officially cleared to wrestle, however, it now looks like Undisputed Era are back at full capacity.
