Dominic Gutiérrez, the 21 year old son of former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio Jr., has begun training in his early pro wrestling career, as Rey announced on his Instagram that Dominic began training this week with former WWE, ECW, and WCW Superstar Lance Storm at the Storm Wrestling Academy in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The news comes hot on the heels of the reports that Rey Mysterio himself has signed a new 2-year deal with the WWE and that his return to the company as a full-time performer is imminent. While Dominic is just starting his wrestling career, he’s no stranger to the WWE Universe himself. He was famously a pawn in a storyline feud between his father and Eddie Guerrero back in 2005, when Eddie claimed that Dominic was actually his own son instead of Mysterio’s.
Lance Storm is one of the most respected trainers in the world today, having trained such current stars as Tyler Breeze, Oney Lorcan, Chelsea Green, Taya Valkyrie, Tenille Dashwood (Emma), Brian Pillman Jr., Peyton Royce and Rachael Ellering. He was also recently a guest trainer at the WWE Performance Center this past August. Storm had a long career as a proficient worker in the ring.
