All four of the MMA Four Horsewomen have now officially made their in-ring debuts, as Jessamyn Duke became the last one of the four to make her debut at tonight’s NXT Live Event in Largo, Florida – and she did so with a bang. Yesterday, Duke hinted that they were doing something special together, when she posted a photo of the three NXT Horsewomen, adorned in their older model Four Horsewomen T-shirts.

Earlier today, she sent out a Tweet depicting a photo of the three NXT Horsewomen – Duke alongside Shayna Baszler and Marina Shafir – saying that they “were here”. They three have sent out similar posts in the past, but they’ve always just lead to singles matches and most often, just Shayna Baszler. Marina Shafir made her NXT Live Event at the end of July.

Tonight, Duke made her debut and she did so in a 6-Woman Tag Team match that main evented tonight’s NXT Live Event in Largo, teaming alongside Baszler and Shafir to face a formidable trio of NXT Women’s Champion Kairi Sane and new NXT recruits, Io Shirai and Deonna Purrazzo.

The Horsewomen picked up the win, which angered some fans online for pushing the newly signed MMA fighters over the bigger indie name signings. But considering the long standing rumors of an MMA Horsewomen vs WWE Horsewomen (Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Bayley and Sasha Banks) seem to heating back up, with a confrontation at either Survivor Series or Evolution, it would make sense to push the other Horsewoman quickly – in all likelihood, Duke and Shafir may skip NXT TV altogether and head to the main roster with Shayna to get that angle started sooner than later. Io Shirai, Kairi Sane and Deonna Purrazzo will be main event players for NXT’s women’s division for the next year, they will have their time.
As best as I can make out, Lane and Cantanzaro came out to make a save post match to help Shirai, Purrazzo and Sane fend off Baszler, Duke and Shafir.
So the 'good guys' ultimately stand tall, while the baddies retreat. Some fans need to chill out. #NXTLargo pic.twitter.com/baEb6qWAHe
