Britt Baker vs. Solo Darling

Britt Baker has taken the women’s wrestling world by storm for the last couple of years. The mayor of Brittsburgh and one half of Fire and Nice, Britt employs a hard-hitting, high octane offensive style. Also, since Ms. Baker is now a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD), she can knock your teeth out AND fix them for you! Will she be able to withstand the sugary sweet Solo Darling? Solo Darling is a ten-year veteran of the squared circle. She’s also one half of the tag team Bird and the Bee with Willow Nightingale, who is also in action at Facelift. The unsuspecting little woodland creature shouldn’t fool you though. A mainstay of both women’s and intergender wrestling, Darling is tenacious and deceptively strong. The sharp stinger of the sugar creature will be poised and ready for Dr. Baker.

Alisha Edwards vs. Willow Nightingale

The pugnacious Alisha Edwards heads into Facelift to face the other half of the Bird and the Bee, Willow Nightingale. She will look to avenge her loss at WWR’s last event, WWR Great Rivals Round Robin Tournament: Team Adams. This loss also happened to be against Willow’s tag team partner, Solo Darling. Willow Nightingale is also no stranger to WWR or the women’s wrestling scene, even though she’s only three years into her career. She may not have the experience of an Alisha Edwards, but she sure is full of the power of positivity.

Gabby Ortiz & Leon St. Giovanni vs. Terra Callaway & Jeff Cannonball

Gabby Ortiz and Leon St. Giovanni (LSG) debuted at WWR Great Rivals Round Robin Tournament: Team Adams. Even though Team Spicy, as they call themselves, lost; they still felt bold enough to demand a match at Facelift. On August 9th, they threw down the open challenge. Terra Callaway, a longtime member of the WWR roster, took exception to this. Terra will be teaming with Jeff Cannonball to take on Gabby and LSG. Both Terra and Jeff are a rough and tough pair of competitors. They look to take out their dangerous intentions on “Barbie” (Gabby Ortiz) and “Ken” (LSG).

Harlow O’Hara vs. Davienne

Harlow O’Hara looks to be #BØRNAGAIN and to make WWR her new sanctum. The priestess, the leader of the Church of Harlow is making her WWR debut against Davienne. Along with her hard-hitting offense, Harlow will also employ her divine powers to gain whatever she desires. Davienne is WWR’s resident slugger, and she’s been with the promotion since day 1. Both are power wrestlers and employ similar move sets. It will be a clash of the titans with these two bruising beauties.

Santana Garrett vs. Penelope Ford

Making her WWR return at Facelift is wrestling’s Wonder Woman: Santana Garrett. Garrett has been a major force in women’s wrestling for several years now. She hasn’t, however, been in WWR since 2017. Wrestling’s bad girl, Penelope Ford, is the yin to Santana’s yang. Where Santana is America’s Sweetheart, Penelope is not. Unlike Santana, Penelope has been with WWR consistently. There is a distinct clash of ideas here, but their styles are similar. The main difference is that Penelope likes to win by any means necessary.

Taeler Hendrix vs. Skylar

This one is a battle of the redheads. While they have been friendly on social media, this may change once they get into the ring together. Both have been throwing around ideas of either being teammates or opponents over Twitter this year. Taeler has a notorious mean-streak though, so she may snap when the rubber hits the road. Will she make the youngster Hail Hendrix? Skylar is a young and sassy wrestler, not all that different from Taeler in that respect. Skylar is also on a little bit of a roll in WWR, winning her last two matches. She may just serve Taeler the Hot Scoop.

Powerbomb.TV Independent Wrestling Championship Match: Tracy Williams (c) vs. Shotzi Blackheart

‘Hot Sauce’ Tracy Williams will be defending his Powerbomb.TV Independent Wrestling Championship. His opponent is none other than the ‘Ballsy Badass’ Shotzi Blackheart. Williams is hot off a successful title defense over Tessa Blanchard, and this will be his tenth title defense overall. This is a very interesting clash of styles, with Williams having a strong mat-based style and Shotzi employing an energetic and flashier style.

Also scheduled to appear are Maria Manic, Faye Jackson, Kris Stadtlander, Samara, Sonya Strong, Veda Scott, Tasha Steelz and Oceanea. If you can’t make it to the event in person, don’t worry! Powerbomb.tv has you covered and will be streaming the show live. Facelift is scheduled for a 4:30 PM ET start time.
