The Crash Lucha Libre had a huge event in Tijuana last Friday night, having international wrestlers like Matt Riddle, ACH and Tessa Blanchard. One of the main stories out of the show is Tessa Blanchard defeating Lacey Lane & Santana Garrett for The Crash Women’s title.
The Departure of Lacey Lane
Lacey Lane was champion for 175 days. The title change came against friends and training partners in the form of Tessa Blanchard and Santana Garret.
In a interview with The Crash Lucha Libre, Lane was said to have “international projects” and to be leaving the Tijuana wrestling company. Moreover, The Crash in their Facebook page said that La Rebelión Amarilla announce that Lacey Lane was joining WWE. This, with the Mae Young Classic just around the corner , implies the Lacey will be part of WWE’s second edition of the tournament.

With Lacey’s departure, Blanchard is schedule to become a regular for the company. Blanchard, who just signed a log-term deal with Impact Wrestling, won the title in his second appearance and try in the Mexican promotion.
La Rebelión Amarilla with new member
Lane was part of the Garza Jr.‘s La Rebelión Amarilla, were she was partners with the him, Mecha Wolf 450 and Bestia 666.
The faction announced their new member to the faction and surprise in the show, PCW ULTRA regular Jacob Fatu (son of former WWE Superstar The Tonga Kid, who was part of The Islanders tag team with Haku). The newest member to the faction debuted with La Rebelión Amarilla against Blue Demon Jr., Octagón and Hijo de Octagón, in a match that ended DQ. Fatu, who was trained by Rikishi, wrestles regularly in California, specially for Pacific Coast Wrestling, All Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Revolution and even up further north with Defy Wrestling.
Pete Dunne to debut in The Crash
The WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne is set to appeared in the Mexican promotion on August 3 in Tijuana. The show will also feature de debut of Dragon Lee, who will also debut for the company. The Match will be Pete Dunne vs. Dragon Lee vs. Daga which is basically a dream match for many.
