Royal Albert Hall: South Kensington, London – As announced on WWE.com, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven, collectively known as the tag team Mustache Mountain, became the new NXT Tag Team Champions by defeating representatives of Undisputed Era in Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly in their native of England, marking the first time that an NXT title changed hands overseas since Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Samoa Joe in Osaka, Japan on the 28th of December 2016th edition of NXT. Strong and O’Reilly’s defeat ends a 202 day reign as champions, which is the third longest reign in the title’s history only behind the likes of Blake and Murphy The Ascension. Seven’s and Bate’s win make it their first time as NXT Tag Team Champions and their title defense will be aired on the 26th of June on the WWE Network at 3pm US Eastern Standard time on Night Two of the WWE UK Special.

Tyler Bate and Trent Seven aren’t strangers to Tag Team gold as a team. Bate a three time PROGRESS Tag Team Champion, two of those alongside partner Trent Seven with a combined 240 days as tag team champions for the British Indie Brand as members of the popular faction British Strong Style. Bate and Seven are the 4th longest reigning PROGRESS Tag Team Champions (177) behind the likes of The Origin (Nathan Cruz & El Ligero), The Sumerian Death Squad (Tommy End (Aleister Black) & Michael Dante) & FSU (Mark Andrews & Eddie Dennis).
