Deonna Purrazzo Signs With WWE

Squared Circle Sirens, the top women’s wrestling site for reliable news, broke early this morning that Women of Honor star and indie sensation Deonna Purrazzo has signed with the WWE and will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center in the next few weeks.

The 23-year old New Jersey native is a veteran beyond her years. She’s been wrestling since 2013 and had made a lasting impression wherever she’s been through, from smaller indies like ECWA to recently competing for the Women of Honor Championship in Ring of Honor. Purrazzo competed on the first WOH show back in 2015 and had previously been considered one of the focal points for Ring of Honor’s revamped women’s division.

WWE Signs Deonna Purrazzo

Throughout her career, she’s worked for Impact Wrestling on special events, the WWE on multiple occasions (from NXT to main roster), Stardom, SHIMMER, WrestleCircus, RevPro, Beyond, PROGRESS and many more, becoming one of the top indie stars of the past few years. She signed a Ring of Honor contract in January, but it appears it was a short term deal and she’s now heading to Orlando to begin working with NXT.

With today’s news, it would appear that Deonna Purrazzo has now become a very real possibility for this year’s Mae Young Classic II, when previously her WOH deal was considered a hold up. Purrazzo was an alternate for last year’s edition.
