It was announced during this weekend’s Super Strong Style 16 tournament that PROGRESS would be returning to the United States this summer, with a new expanded tour to visit five US cities this time around (last year they hit only two, Boston and New York City). The Seattle show will be in conjunction with DEFY Wrestling, while the East Coast shows will be in partnership with EVOLVE once again.
From their statement today:
AMERICA! We are heading your way this August for FIVE shows. Once again we’re delighted to be working with our friends at WWN Live, and psyched to be working with DEFY Wrestling for the first time in the Pacific North-West.
Here are the tour dates and cities:
4th August – New York City
5th August – Boston
9th August – Seattle
11th August – Chicago
12th August – Detroit
All shows except Seattle will be double-headers, with EVOLVE running in the afternoon and PROGRESS in the evening. Double-header events will be ticketed separately, no combo tickets.
We’ll keep this post updated with venue, on-sale and ticket info… but right now we can tell you that tickets for Chicago and Detroit will be available to buy in person when Evolve hits those cities on the 19th and 20th May.
Life is mad, eh.

This will mark PROGRESS’ third tour of North America and second one in the United States, following a brief Canadian tour in 2016 (partnering with Smash Wrestling) and their brief US tour last summer. PROGRESS has also been a part of WrestleMania weekend, starting in 2017 in Florida.
There’s been no announced talent as of yet (as their regular Chaptered events are still ongoing), but it should be finalizing storylines as they prepare to head to their biggest event ever, when they head to Wembley and the SSE Arena for this coming September 30.
