At tonight’s ICW Barramania 4 show, Mark Coffey was victorious in a six-man gauntlet match to capture the vacant ICW Zero-G Championship. Coffey was the fifth man to enter the match, following Andy Wild, Aaron Echo, Jordan Devlin, and DCT, and was able to eliminate DCT and the last entrant Rampage Brown.

This marks Coffey’s third reign with the Zero-G Championship, and first since 2014. In ICW, he is also a former four-time tag team champion. The Zero-G Title had been vacant since April 1st, after Coffey and Jody Fleisch went to a double pinfall in a triple threat also including defending champion BT Gunn.
This reign marks the continuation of a great few months for The Power Forward. He made it to the final two in this year’s Square Go! Match, and also picked up a huge win against Square! Go winner Stevie Boy a few weeks later. Coffey had been part of the Polo Promotions tag team for a number of years with Jackie Polo, and although they had plenty of success together both are more than capable of hanging on their own.

Mark Coffey was confronted after the match by his brother Joe Coffey, who was making his return after being gone from ICW for a number of months. It’ll be interesting to see where these two go now that they’re on opposing sides of the ring.
