At tonight’s Impact tapings in Orlando, Florida, injured Knockout Diamante (previously known as Angel Rose on the indie scene) made her Impact return in a match taped for Xplosion. Diamante returned alongside LAX, which saw their numbers increase this week with a returning Eddie Kingston joining the stable, which features former 2x Impact Tag Team Champions Santana & Ortiz and manager Konnan (although Konnan has been absent this week). There’s no word on Homicide‘s status with the group (and the company) as he hasn’t been seen on Impact Wrestling since March 10, in a win over Jon Cruz (a match taped this past January), but if he’s still a member as well, this makes LAX now six people strong.
Congrats on your return @DiamanteLAX! See #Diamante face @realsuyung on an upcoming @IMPACTWRESTLING #Xplosion match. pic.twitter.com/TdyA3PrSyr

Diamante is a 10-year veteran of the indie circuit as Angel Rose, starting off with the Independent Championship Wrestling (ICW) promotion out of Miami, Florida. A 4x ICW Women’s Champion, she also had a reign as the ICW Champion. In 2016, she exploded onto the national indie circuit, working with such women’s promotions as Queens of Combat (QOC) and IGNITE, which lead to an even bigger 2017, where she made debuts with SHINE, WrestleCircus, PWX and Puerto Rico’s WWL, not to mention appearing on WWE’s Monday Night Raw as an opponent to Asuka upon her early days on the main roster. Not long after her WWE appearance, she debuted on Impact Wrestling as Diamante, as the women’s representative on the newly re-formed LAX. Her quick rise in Impact was derailed almost as quickly as it started, when she dislocated her elbow in August at an event for PWX following an errant frog splash. Following months of recovery and rehab, she made her return to the ring last month at FEST Wrestling‘s The Hardcore Event in an Eight Way Scramble that featured Veda Scott, CJ O’Doyle, Jimmy Lloyd, Jamie Senegal, Jonny Vandal, and fellow Knockouts Su Yung and Keira Hogan. She’s taking part in the Battle Club Pro card May The Queen Reign in New York on May 26, in a rematch against her Xplosion opponent tonight, Su Yung.
