At tonight’s Black Label Pro Wrestling (BLP) Slamilton event, Jordynne Grace cashed in her title shot opportunity she earned by winning the Black Label Pro Rumble this January, taking advantage of a battered “Filthy” Tom Lawlor who had just defended his BLP Championship against hardcore madman Nick Gage. Grace delivered a Vader bomb to Lawlor and pinned him, becoming only the second holder of the title. Tom Lawlor won a tournament at the company’s third event, BLP First of the Month, this past January, defeating AJ Gray in the final. Grace ended Lawlor’s reign at 101 days.

At only 22 years old, Grace has become one of the emerging indie stars of the next wave of great women’s wrestlers (or wrestlers period), starting out with Metroplex Wrestling (MPX) in Texas in 2012. She made her Beyond debut in 2013 and in 2015, she defeated Joey Janela at CZW Dojo Wars 27. Since then she’s gone on to work for such North American indies as SHINE, WSU, Women’s Wrestling Revolution (WWR), Smash Wrestling, Limitless and IWA Mid-South, and in the British Isles with Pro Wrestling EVE and OTT. She’s also been a part of a successful tag team with indie icon LuFisto, entitled Team PAWG, who have scored big wins over the likes of EVOLVE Tag Team Champions Doom Patrol (Chris Dickinson & Jaka) and Impact World Tag Team Champions LAX (Santana & Ortiz). She’s also 300+ days into her reign as the Pro Wrestling Magic (PWM) Women’s Champion.
