#AndNEW: Tomohiro Ishii Wins RevPro British Heavyweight Title

Another huge title change over WrestleMania week, as the main event of RevPro‘s showcase at WrestleCon saw RevPro British Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. lose his title – his second title loss of the week – to NJPW’s Tomohiro Ishii. This was Sabre’s second reign as British Heavyweight Champion and it ended at 397 days – he won the title back at NJPW 45th Anniversary show in 2016, his NJPW debut, and immediately joined the villainous Suzuki-Gun. In the past two years, he’s defended it against the likes of Matt Riddle, Will Ospreay, KUSHIDA and Penta El 0M, but he’d fought back every challenge. Ishii, a 22-year veteran of puroresu in Japan, is a 4x NEVER Openweight Champion and former ROH Television Champion.
