At last night’s Impact Wrestling special event Impact Crossroads on PopTV, two titles changed hands on a card where every Impact Wrestling Championship was on the line.

AND NEW Knockouts Champion – @AllieImpact.
Very few have worked harder or been more deserving to win the Knockouts Championship. Long may she reign! #Crossroads pic.twitter.com/gswVpfdXh6

Allie won her second Knockouts Championship, defeating Laurel Van Ness and ending Van Ness’ reign at the top of the Knockouts Division. Allie has come a long way in Impact, initially debuting with the company as the timid assistant to Maria Kanellis in 2016 (although she’d previously competed on One Night Only events under her real name Laura Dennis). Her first Knockouts Championship was a fluke win during her time, when she inadvertently won a Fatal Five Way for the title against the Champion of Kanellis’ stable, Sienna, alongside Jade (Mia Yim), Marti Bell and Madison Rayne. She would lose the title the following week to Maria herself. This time, the spotlight is squarely on Allie, as she looks to become one of the Knockouts Division’s focal points in 2018.

Matt Sydal became a dual champion, as the Impact Grand Champion defeated Pro Wrestling NOAH‘s Taiji Ishimori for the X-Division title in a high flying athletic affair. It’s Sydal’s first X-Division title in his Impact career for the former WWE, ROH and IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.
