RAW 25: RUMOURED NAMES
In October, PWInsider reported that local New York advertising for the Raw 25th Anniversary show also advertised Bret “Hitman” Hart and Mick Foley as appearing, although so far neither have been announced. Bret could get announced during the Mixed Match Challenge on Tuesday night, tied into Natalya‘s match alongside Shinsuke Nakamura.

Earlier this week, Natalya gave Nakamura her father, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart‘s Hart Foundation jacket for luck, which could be foreshadowing that perhaps her dad may join the Hitman next week for an original Hart Foundation reunion, with possibly even Jimmy Hart in tow. Foley could be announced during Smackdown Live, as another list will likely be revealed (WWE loves to advertise Raw stuff on Smackdown Live).
There’s also been reports that the WWE brass is at a standoff on whether to include Hulk Hogan as a potential surprise at the event. The leading thought is that it could be too high profile an event to bring back Hulk Hogan quite yet, but there’s a vocal contingent fighting back that something like this is exactly the kind of nostalgia trigger event that could bring Hogan back into the family. Dwayne Johnson is also reportedly in-between projects and has a clear schedule around Monday, so an unannounced appearance from The Rock isn’t entirely out of the question.
