Earlier this month, former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho announced he was launching the first ever pro wrestling “Rock N’ Wrestling Rager” cruise next year, that would combine professional wrestling with live music, for a 5-day cruise sailing from Miami, Florida to Nassau in the Bahamas. The entire event is being hosted by WWE Hall of Famers and legendary announce team Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler and will feature a ton of wrestling legends such as Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Mick Foley, Diamond Dallas Page, Rey Mysterio Jr. and Raven. Live music will feature such bands as Jericho’s own band, Fozzy, plus sets from the likes of Phil Campbell & The Bastard Sons, KYNG, The Dives and The Cherry Bombs. There’s even stand-up comedy from comedians such as Jim Breuer.
The actual wrestling portion of the cruise is being handled by Ring of Honor, who are throwing a Sea of Honor Tournament throughout the five days. Today, Chris Jericho announced the first wrestlers to be competing on the cruise, in the form of multi-world champion tag team, The Young Bucks.

The Young Bucks are a strong first choice, as they’ve been arguably the most popular and successful tag teams in the world the past few years. Aside from being the ultra-hip Bullet Club and starring in the YouTube series Being The Elite, they’re also former 3x ROH World Tag Team Champions, the reigning ROH 6-Man Tag Team Champions (with “Hangman” Adam Page), 6x IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, 4x PWG World Tag Team Champions, as well as Tag Champs with CHIKARA and Dragon Gate USA.

The announcement of 2/3 of Bullet Club’s The Elite will likely fuel rumours that the recent online Twitter feud between Chris Jericho and Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega could in fact be setting the undertone for a potential dream match at the Sea of Honor Tournament. The two Winnipegers from Canada got pretty heated and with the unlikely pairing ever happening in a NJPW or WWE ring in the next year or so, a Jericho sponsored cruise booked by ROH could be just the neutral battlefield required for such a showdown.
The Chris Jericho Cruise runs October 27-31, 2018. You can get more information here.
