But I’m Chris Jericho Picked Up By CBC, Season 2 Announced

Not many people seemed to be aware of Chris Jericho‘s 10-episode web series But I’m Chris Jericho hit the airwaves (webwaves?) back in 2013. It didn’t get a whole lot of press, mainly because Chris Jericho was coming off a hit-and-miss comeback that saw him lose to Fandango (at WrestleMania), feud with CM Punk, then go out with forgettable runs with Dolph Ziggler and Curtis Axel. He hadn’t yet come back to face AJ Styles or form a legendary partnership with Kevin Owens. But good news. The indie Canadian comedy series, with also features such Canadian comedians as Scott Thompson (Kids In The Hall), Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?), plus Andy Kindler (Mort on Bob’s Burgers), has been picked up by CBC Television in Jericho’s homeland Canada. The series is a fictionalized account of Chris Jericho post-WWE trying to make it as a big time actor, featuring Thompson as his acting coach and Mochrie as a classmate. CBC made the announcement they will be producing Season 2 of the series, as part of their new digital media division, in the form of 6 more episodes.

In honour of that announcement, CBC released the entire original season one from 2013 on it’s YouTube channel and web page. You can watch the entire 10-part series below, while we descend into another Chris Jericho self-imposed WWE exile, in preparation for the launch of But I’m Chris Jericho! Season 2 this Fall.
