WWE Backlash Preview: Breezango vs. The Usos

Breezango vs. The Usos is for the Smackdown tag team championships at the Backlash pay per view. Who is going to win and why?

For the first time since WrestleMania, there’s going to be a SmackDown Live pay per view, Backlash. Early on in the card, we get to see Breezango vs. The Usos. The bout is for the Smackdown tag team championships at the Backlash pay per view. Who is going to win and why?

WWE Backlash Preview: Breezango vs. The Usos

Recently, the work of Tyler Breeze and Fandango has been brilliant. Both men have always had plenty of potential but bad timing and bad booking have held them down. The “Fashion Files” segments have been the best part of SmackDown Live lately, and it’s great to see both men getting time in the ring and on the screen.

However, I’m not optimistic about their chances this Sunday. While Breezango has been great, so have the Usos. Since they turned heel and showed off their new gimmick, they’ve been more entertaining than ever. In all honesty, this might be the best running feud on SmackDown Live heading into Backlash.

Possible Outcomes

Most Likely

The most likely outcome is that the Usos retain. Most likely, WWE is still going to put the belts on American Alpha or New Day before all is said and done, so they’ll need a legitimate heel foil. Either the Usos will pull off twin magic or some kind of heel trickery to retain.

Least Likely

The least likely outcome of this match is that Breezango win clean. It would be awesome, but it’s seriously unlikely that WWE would give the comedy duo a run with the tag team titles, especially after all the work they’ve put into the Usos.

Best

The best outcome possible would be for the Usos to win, perhaps by cheating, and then for Fandango to turn on Breeze. Tyler Breeze just oozes potential, and it would be great to see him get back to his NXT form. A Fandango heel turn and a program between the two could give SmackDown a much needed boost.
