“The 2019 NFL Draft is officially open.”

When NFL commissioner Roger Goodell utters those words on April 25 in Nashville, TN, it will mark the beginning of a three-day event that will change lives. The league’s 32 teams will give hundreds of young men the chance to realize their dreams of embarking upon a professional football career. It’s the culmination of a lengthy process that’s involved an extensive amount of evaluation when it comes to these players’ ability to contribute at the next level.

In that spirit, the draft analysts at Last Word on Pro Football have been hard at work breaking down the skill sets of this year’s group of NFL prospects. The fruit of that labor is our draft headquarters right here which contains scouting reports as well as team needs analysis. It’s your one-stop shop for familiarizing yourself with the players who will look to become instant impact rookies during the league’s 100th season.

The draft is an exciting process where fans of struggling teams hope they can find players who can lift them to excellence. At the same time, fans of the league’s elite clubs are hoping that the players selected by their respective teams can keep them at the top. But regardless of the team you root for, we can all agree that the draft is a fun-filled event where NFL fans come together to celebrate the future of the league.

Be sure to check back here often as this page will continue to grow as draft day approaches.
