Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Signs With Dallas Cowboys

Six-year NFL safety, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, signed with the Dallas Cowboys, per his agent, SportsTrust Advisors. Clinton-Dix, a one-time Pro Bowler, spent the 2019 season with the Chicago Bears but was originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers.

Dallas Cowboys Sign Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

Clinton-Dix spent the 2019 season with the Chicago Bears and started all 16 games. Clinton-Dix recorded 78 tackles with none being for a loss on the season. He also recorded two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and his first-ever interception touchdown. Clinton-Dix had zero sacks on the season and zero quarterback hits.

Clinton-Dix initially entered the league as the 21st pick of the first round in the 2014 NFL Draft. Selected by the Green Bay Packers, Clinton-Dix started in 10 games his rookie season. As a rookie, he recorded 92 tackles and one tackle for loss on the season. He also logged one interception and one sack that season.

In total, Clinton-Dix spent four full seasons with the Green Bay Packers. During his time there, the first-round pick recorded 14 interceptions and five and a half sacks. Additionally, Clinton-Dix registered four fumble recoveries and eight quarterback hits.

Clinton-Dix joined the Chicago Bears on a one-year deal worth $5.5 million. Before signing with the Bears, Clinton-Dix had spent his previous season with the Washington Redskins after being traded there from Green Bay.

Throughout the course of his career, Clinton-Dix has recorded a total of 522 combined tackles with only eight being for a loss. Additionally, Clinton-Dix has registered 16 career interceptions with only one of them going back for a touchdown. Clinton-Dix has also been to the Pro Bowl just once in his six-year career. Clinton-Dix has never been named to the First-Team All-Pro, but he has played in seven career playoff games, all of which came with the Packers.
