There are plenty of 2026 Jaguars players to keep an eye on. While the team had a controversial 2026 draft and free agency, their roster holds one of the highest floors in the league. The team is littered with experienced players in their prime, as well as young up-and-coming players. But they have a few additions that have flown under the radar from the national media that could make a huge difference. Here are four Jaguars players to watch for in 2026.
Four 2026 Jaguars Players to Watch
Caleb Ransaw
Caleb Ransaw is certainly a 2026 Jaguars player to watch. He was a promising prospect coming out of college, showing versatility to play as both a defensive back and safety. Just a month before the 2025 season, he suffered a foot injury that required surgery, ending his season before it began. This resulted in veterans Eric Murray and Andrew Wingard playing heavy snaps at the safety position.
Now that Wingard is playing elsewhere, this will open up opportunities to get more playing time. Eric Murray and Jourdan Lewis are also aging veterans, with Lewis coming off a major injury. Ransaw could begin the season as a rotational defensive back and safety before earning a starting role.
Ruke Orhorhoro
In one of the quietest trades of the offseason, the Jaguars traded 2024 second-round pick Maason Smith to the Atlanta Falcons for 2024 second-round pick Ruke Orhorhoro. Orhorhoro offers a clear improvement in run blocking, as well as much-needed pass rush on the interior defensive line.
In 2025, Orhorhoro recorded 3.5 sacks, six quarterback hits, and 30 pressures, while playing just 54% of defensive snaps. Now he will be paired with two excellent edge rushers in Travon Walker and Josh Hines-Allen, as well as veteran defensive tackle Arik Armstead. Orhorhoro enters a pivotal year and could make a big impact for the Jaguars’ pass rush in a new system next to very good pass rushers.
Tanner Koziol
Brenton Strange had a career year in 2025, posting career highs in yards, receptions, and touchdowns while playing in just 12 games. But in the five games he missed, the Jaguars’ backups offered next to no production from the tight end position. It was clear that the Jaguars needed another pass-catching tight end on the roster heading into 2026.
Second-round rookie Nate Boerkircher will be a helpful addition in run and pass blocking, and Tanner Koziol will offer more depth as the team’s second pass-catching tight end. Koziol led the Big-12 in receptions in 2025, excelling at contested catches and jump balls. His presence and large frame will add another element to the Jaguars’ offense, particularly in the red zone.
Anton Harrison
During the 2026 offseason, the Jaguars picked up the fifth-year option for right tackle Anton Harrison. Harrison had a solid 2025 campaign, being graded 34th out of 89 tackles. Through three years, he has proven to be a capable starting right guard, but has yet to elevate his play beyond that.
While he is under contract for two more seasons, a great 2026 season would put him in line for a long-term contract extension. The Jaguars have their blind-side left tackle position solidified for the foreseeable future, but the jury is still out on whether Harrison will be a Jaguar after his rookie contract. 2026 will be a big season for Harrison and could net him massive rewards if he can take the next step.
