NFL Salaries: Expiring Contracts in the NFC South
The Falcons face some big decisions. Kyle Pitts was given the franchise tender, and Jessie Bates is entering the final season of his contract. Bates has said he wants to retire as a Falcon, but what will the cost be for Atlanta? Can the Falcons sign Pitts to a more team-friendly contract that allows them some cap flexibility this season? The Saints and Buccaneers face some big decisions as well with Alvin Kamara and Baker Mayfield, respectively. The Saints would be wise to consider trading Kamara while they can get some value before he enters free agency.
