 Jaeden Roberts heads into the 2026 NFL Draft as one of the most physically imposing interior linemen in the class. He brings a classic power profile—a 330-pound guard from Alabama with elite strength, highlighted by an 800-plus-pound squat. More importantly, that strength shows up on film, where he consistently moved SEC defensive tackles and opens up clear running lanes.

He does his best work in tight spaces, where he can rely on power and leverage, but his game still needs refinement in faster situations. Roberts can look heavy-footed when reacting to quick pass-rush moves or handling stunts, which creates some inconsistency in pass protection. Because of that, most teams view him as a Day 3 prospect in the Round 5–6 range. He offers clear upside as a developmental guard, and if he improves his footwork and processing, he has the tools to grow into a long-term starter.

Strengths

Jaeden Roberts is a powerhouse. The guy moves defenders exactly where he wants them to go. He’s a natural fit for downhill, gap, or power schemes, where he uses his massive frame to clear out lanes and create huge running paths. Roberts has faced top-tier defensive talent in the SEC and has played in big games throughout his career.

Roberts plays with a clear edge and consistently tries to bury defenders, which really sets the tone for the rest of the offensive line. When he’s pass blocking, he anchors down beautifully, using a wide base and heavy hands to shut down bull rushes and hold his ground against even the strongest defensive tackles.

Weaknesses 

Jaeden Roberts struggles at times to mirror quicker interior rushers and doesn’t always redirect smoothly in space. He fits best in a power/gap system. Roberts hasn’t shown the range needed for wide-zone schemes. He plays too upright at times.  Roberts’  footwork and hand timing can fall out of sync, leading to pressure against more athletic rushers. He also has trouble consistently reaching and sustaining blocks at the second level against faster linebackers. When Jaeden loses early in a rep, he doesn’t have the foot quickness to recover.
