Cornerback Standouts From Day 2 of the NFL Combine

On Day 2 of the NFL Combine, many cornerback draft prospects had great performances, and here are six of the top standout cornerbacks at the 2026 NFL Combine.

CB D’Angelo Ponds, Indiana

D’Angelo Ponds recorded an insane 43.50-inch vertical jump at the combine. His vertical jump leads all cornerbacks at this year’s combine, is tied for the second-best of any player through the first two days at the combine, and is one of the best vertical jumps recorded by a cornerback in combine history. Along with an incredible vertical jump, Ponds was also extremely impressive in the on-field workout. Ponds is a projected Day 2 pick in the NFL Draft.

CB Charles Demmings, Stephen F. Austin

Charles Demmings is one of the best FCS prospects in the 2026 draft class, and he also showed he is one of the most athletic prospects in this year’s draft class. He measured in with good size at 6-foot-1 and 193 pounds and a 32-inch arm length. Demmings ran an impressive 4.41 40-yard dash time, and also had an elite vertical jump and broad jump. He had a 42-inch vertical and 11-foot-0 broad jump, which both rank second among all cornerbacks at the combine. Demmings scored the best unofficial relative athletic score of any cornerback this year with a 9.97 relative athletic score.

CB Tacario Davis, Washington

Tacario Davis is a cornerback with good size at 6-foot-4 and 194 pounds. He also has an elite 33 3/8-inch arm length. Along with having great size and arm length, Davis also ran one of the five fastest 40-yard dash times among cornerbacks at 4.41 seconds. He had a very good 37-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-3 broad jump as well. Davis showed he has an amazing combination of size, length, speed, and explosiveness at the combine, finishing with an unofficial 9.76 relative athletic score.

CB Latrell McCutchin Sr., Houston

Latrell McCutchin Sr. performed well across the board at the combine. He measured in at 6-foot-2 and 191 pounds, and ran a great 4.43 40-yard dash time with a 1.58 10-yard split. Along with great speed, he showed elite explosiveness with a 38.50-inch vertical jump and 10-foot-11 broad jump, while also having the best 3-cone and shuttle time of any cornerback at the combine. 

CB Toriano Pride Jr., Missouri

Speed is very important for cornerbacks, and no cornerback at the 2026 NFL Combine ran a faster 40 time than Toriano Pride Jr., who ran a 4.32 40-yard dash. He also had a great 1.51 10-yard split. Pride had a good 10-foot-8 broad jump and a 37.50-inch vertical jump as well, and scored an unofficial 8.48 relative athletic score.

CB Daylen Everette, Georgia

Daylen Everette is a cornerback with good size at 6-foot-1 and 196 pounds. He also has great speed and ran a 4.38 40-yard dash time, which ranked second among all cornerbacks. Finished the combine with an unofficial 9.82 relative athletic score. Everette is an experienced cornerback with a good blend of size and speed, and he has a good chance to go on Day 2 of the NFL Draft.
