Overview
Born in Richmond, Texas, Morris attended George Ranch High School. As a senior, Morris had seven receptions of 55 yards in two games with one touchdown. He earned an Offensive MVP at the Blue-Gray All-American Bowl Southwest Super Regional Combine. As a basketball player, he had 11.4 points per game, two assists per game, 4.8 rebounds a game, 2.7 steals per game, and .6 blocks per game. He was the AAU National Recognized Player for basketball. Morris committed to Bowling Green State University.
In his freshman season, Morris gathered eight receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns. He also had one kickoff return of five yards. During his Sophomore year, Morris had 42 receptions for 516 yards and seven touchdowns. Additionally, he had one carry for seven yards. Morris had the second-highest receiving yards total on the team with 516, finished second in receptions with 42, and was second in touchdown receptions with seven. He had a season-high in receptions, yards, and touchdowns in a single game against Eastern Kentucky.
In his junior season, Morris hauled in 55 receptions for 649 yards and four touchdowns. He led his team with 55 receptions, 649 receiving yards, and four touchdown catches. His completed receptions and receiving yardage were first in the MAC for a tight end. Against Louisiana Tech, Morris had a career-long 59-yard reception. He was also named to the Second-Team All-MAC. During his senior year, he had 20 receptions for 248 yards. Morris was named 2020 First-Team All-MAC and led his team in receptions and yards caught. He also had a season-long 53-yard reception against Akron.

Bottom Line on Quintin Morris
Morris may be the victim of a production drop-off in his senior year. He has shown all the tools to be an effective pass-catching tight-end and the effort to deal with physical defenders. Morris is raw in certain aspects of his game that need to be polished, but if a team is willing to do that then he could be a steal. He has the small school mantra working against him. Regardless of that, though, the tools and potential are there for Morris to be a quality tight end in the NFL. A team who takes a chance on him will get a tight end with good receiving tools and NFL level-physicality and work ethic.
