The Carolina Panthers are non-committal to QB Bryce Young despite picking up his fifth-year option. If Young can’t live up to the moment, they have free agent signee Kenny Pickett to turn to, but don’t be surprised if they add another potential starter. Will Grier will join Dallas as an offensive assistant, so Garoppolo joining this QB room to salvage the unit as depth makes sense. He might not get a chance to start, but could step in if needed if Pickett isn’t able to go.
