2. Dallas Cowboys
Despite signing Javonte Williams to a new deal, the RB backup room in Dallas is still questionable. Between Jaydon Blue, Malik Davis and Phil Mafah, this is probably one of the most unmotivating rooms for Williams. Blue is locked in as the presumptive RB2, but the team must figure out how Davis and Mafah can fare in training camp. Dallas would probably be better off signing Ford if he’s available and letting Davis and Mafah ride the practice squad for the entire 2026 campaign.
The former Brown isn’t going to blow over and record more than 500 rushing yards, but he’d likely be a physical asset for Dallas needing to fight for first down, especially near the end zone.
